Prêt-à-porter Collection
“An inner world made up of culture and customs emerges as an elementary simplicity reflecting the history of man… A sense of traveling, through cities and refined rural areas, accents a wish for a warm, happy clannishness: a feeling of common friendship, affinities of emotions and tastes which don’t necessarily equate a way of being … Diversities side by side, in full awareness of origins, traditions and future. For the planet of man is so complex that getting back on track takes a solid foundation, a basic want…
To an underlying need for flexibility and ease, I responded with (sometimes collarless) jackets as comfortable as sweaters; with full-textured tweeds and plaids, silk/cashmere blends, double-faced fabrics soft of touch but bristly of appearance…
The entire collection highlights a certain dualism: the silk chenille is both puffy and ultralight, the leather garment with quilted lining seems voluminous but is almost weightless… In the colors of always: pale gray, asphalt, leaf green in mix with camel. And in heraldic tones: yellow, France blue, banner red… “
